Meet our Founder and Executive Director

Alayah Brown is a visionary entrepreneur and community advocate dedicated to helping individuals find stability and a fresh start. As the Founder of Harbor Legacy Living, she created a housing program centered on structure, accountability, and respect designed to provide more than housing, but hope.

A 2021 graduate of Claflin University and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Alayah’s foundation in leadership and community service directly shapes her approach to building structured, dignified housing environments. With a passion for service and a deep commitment to community impact, Alayah is devoted to creating safe, stable environments where individuals can reset, rebuild, and move forward with confidence. Guided by faith and inspired by legacy, she believes housing should be a foundation for transformation and a stepping stone toward a better future.

The name “Harbor” represents safety, refuge, and a place to anchor during life’s storms, a reflection of the protection and guidance her late father provided. Harbor Legacy Living stands as a tribute to the foundation he built and the legacy she is committed to carrying forward.
